The Ministry of Health and Social Services (MSSS) awarded him an award and two honorable mentions. this 38e edition of the event was entirely dedicated to recognizing the achievements made during the COVID-19 pandemic.

An award for excellence that recognizes exemplary security measures

The Quebec Institute for Physical Rehabilitation (IRDPQ) physical rehabilitation services have won the Isabel-et-Michèle-Beauchemin-Perreault Prize in the Safety and Care Services category. This award highlights the success of the exemplary security measures related to the COVID 19 project at the IRDPQ.

Since March 2020, stakeholders have implemented innovative solutions to protect particularly vulnerable users while maximizing staff safety.

These include:

  • Creation of a reception unit;
  • Creating activities to break the isolation;
  • Organizing visits and training caregivers.

Thanks to these measures, we can proudly say that new standards have been set in infection prevention!
