French Football Cup Final, Traffic Regulations

On Saturday 7 May 2022, OGC Nice will face FC Nantes in the final of the French football cup. For this event, the city of Nice has set up an exceptional system to allow all residents of Nice and visitors to follow this event in the heart of the city. For example, there will be a fan zone with two gigantic screens on Place Masséna and on the Promenade du Paillon near the Espace des Mists. On Sunday, May 8, 2022, in the event of a victory for OGC Nice, the city of Nice will celebrate its champions through a day of entertainment from 10am at the bandstand and the passage of a double-decker bus on the Promenade des Anglais to reach Place Masséna from 6pm o’clock

The following traffic regulations apply for these two exceptional days:

Traffic

When the players’ official bus arrives, temporary diversions may be put in place from the southern roadway of the Promenade des Anglais, particularly at the Grenouillères intersection or the Magnan tunnel. The southernmost lane of the southern carriageway of the Promenade des Anglais can be temporarily neutralized between the Magnan tunnel and rue Honoré Sauvan to facilitate the passage of the bus.

Parking of vehicles of any kind is prohibited, including two-wheeled and GIC-GICs from Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 10 a.m. to Sunday, May 8, 2022 at 11 p.m. (in the event of a win for OGC Nice)

RUHL PARKING
Entry of all vehicles is prohibited – exit of vehicles is possible via Maccarani Street. From Saturday, May 7 at 10 p.m. to Sunday, May 8, 2022 at 3 a.m. and Sunday, May 8 from 12 a.m. to 11 p.m. (if OGC Nice wins)

Open access – Exit only possible on the port side. From Saturday, May 7 at 10 p.m. to Sunday, May 8, 2022 at 3 a.m. and Sunday, May 8 from 12 a.m. to 11 p.m. (if OGC Nice wins)

Public transport
