We immediately reassure you, no, Boulanger is not a site for the sale of baguettes. It is one of the giants of French online sales, specializing in technology. Boulanger and French days: the essentials to know
Boulanger is one of the 6 giants of French online sales at the origin of the French Days. The event is important to the industry, but it may be less known to the general public, so a little reminder is in order.
The French Days were invented to against Amazon and its famous “Prime Days” (we can also see a reaction to the very American Black Friday). The main French e-commerce sites have joined forces to create their own promotional period.
This year it will happen from Wednesday 4 to Monday 9 May, but as is often the case with these types of events, the good deals extend a little beyond the official dates. As of today, we have spotted a significant number of strong promotions at Boulanger.
Knowing by heart the flagship products of the technical market and the different price curves, our team has made a small in-house selection for you.
That said, if you already have a specific product in mind, we invite you to browse the Boulanger site yourself! 4K TV, sound bars, PC… it’s all there.

TCL 55C729: An award-winning 4K QLED TV ideal for the PS5 at a really crazy price at Boulanger
The 4K TV market has become extremely complex over time. Difficult to find your way around, but don’t panic, at JVTECH we know a lot about it.
This TCL TV received an award at the prestigious EISA Awards : It is considered the best LCD TV from 2021 – 2022. If you want better, you will have to buy Mini LED or OLED which are twice as expensive.
- the plate QLED provides a nice contract level and a wide range of colors
- the interface”Connected TV” of Android is extremely ergonomic
- And above all… this TV has a panel 120 Hz and HDMI 2.1 ports
It is clear that this TCL of 55 inch (ie 139cm diagonal, the current standard) is perfect for the next generation, PS5 like Xbox Series X, as it is one of the rare screens that can transmit 4K 120 FPS.
With such features, we expect to pay a minimum of $1000. But no, TCL is one of the Chinese giants that shines with its value for money, and it was launched for €699. Better, Boulanger adds its own discount of -22%, and you only need to pay €699. It’s pretty crazy.

Finally a 55-inch LG 4K OLED TV for €899
The LG 55 A1 is the entry-level model of the very high-end. OLED technology and its infinite contrast level are really impressive, but it is very technical and therefore very expensive to produce.
In 2021, LG Display factories were the only ones in the world that could produce large OLED panels. The Korean company therefore masters the subject particularly well and then tried to create a more accessible OLED television than its flagship ranges reserved for the widest budgets.
The A1 was born. No 120 Hz panel here, just 60 Hz (which is already more than enough, on Next Gen hardly any game manages to hold 4K well at 60 FPS). And… that’s about the only major concession on much more expensive OLED TVs.
Launched at around €1,100, the A1 now drops to €899 at Boulanger. From 55-inch OLED at this price, it’s truly exceptional.

Samsung Galaxy A53: a state-of-the-art 5G smartphone with amazing value for money
We don’t believe our eyes. The Samsung Galaxy A53 has just been released at a price of €459 and, ahead of the French days, Boulanger is already selling it for €399. Better yet, if you buy the new Samsung Galaxy A53, you are entitled to a free pair of Galaxy Buds ( these are Samsung’s AirPods if you will).
The Galaxy A represent the mid/high end at Samsung. The concessions to the Galaxy S are not huge for a much softer price.
- Nice battery 5000mAh
- 4 photo sensors beautifully made
- 2 SIM cards
- Water resistance:
- Smartphone powerful enough for any modern game
- Link 5G
… in short a beautiful beast for its price

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE: one of the kings of Android on sale before the French Days on Boulanger
It may be called “S21”, but this high-end smartphone from Samsung came on the market at the beginning of 2022.
Why ? Simply because Samsung has made it a habit to offer “Fan Edition” (this is the meaning of FE) of its high-end smartphones. Basically, the Korean company takes into account consumer feedback about a product, here the S21, and releases an improved model.
The S21 FE is one of the best Android offerings today on absolutely every level. Released very recently for €759, here it is already €699 at Boulanger. Ah the magic of the French Days…

Headphones and Soundbars: Audiophiles Delighted by Boulanger for the French Days
Samsung HW-Q800A: a widely acclaimed soundbar and not too expensive for the French Days
I’m going to leave the journalistic “we” to tell you my personal opinion. I recently bought a soundbar and seeing this promo makes me really regret missing it.
The Q800A is a great model, with a nice spaciousness of the sound, clear voices and powerful bass. Sure, it has connected speaker options, it harmonizes with all 4K TVs, but even better with Samsung TVs, and it’s Dolby Atmos compatible.
The Q800A is part of the crème de la crème, usually sold for around €800 (the price of very good soundbars), it is currently offered for €499: -37%. Better yet, Boulanger adds another house promo and offers 10€ instant discount for every 150€ of purchase. We therefore add 30 € extra promo and we arrive at 469 €.
Honestly, for a bar of this caliber, it’s stunning.

Sony WH-1000XM4: undeniably one of the best wireless headphones in the world at a bargain price
The XM4 doesn’t have many rivals. In fact, for many tech journalists, myself included, this is the best wireless headset on the market.
It’s beautiful, comfortable, active noise canceling completely cuts you off from the world, compatible with fast charging, 38 hours battery life, well-made hands-free kit and most importantly, almost perfect sound on all fronts… what can I say except we’re close be at perfection.
For similar specs, Apple’s AirPods Max launched for double the price.
While it almost always sells for €349, the much-known XM4 has just dropped to €308 ahead of the French Days. Small bonus, Boulanger will treat you to a 4 month Spotify Premium subscription.

Acer Nitro 5 in stock reduction: This gaming PC is a war machine, losing €600 ahead of the French days
Boulanger is depleting his supplies on certain products… including this fighter jet.
- screen 17 inch
- Ryzen 7 5800H
- 16GB RAM
- 1TB SSD
- WiFi 6 available
If you know a little about it, you should have the falling jaw. It’s very simple, it’s one of the most powerful PCs on the market. For professional use (video export, 3D software, etc.), or 4K gaming with all levels of detail at full speed, we couldn’t find it cheaper.
The RTX 3080, even in its laptop version, is a small monster, the Ryzen 7 supported by 16 GB of RAM has a very high processing power, the SSD is very comfortable…
Normally a PC of this caliber costs almost € 2500. Boulanger really wants to get rid of this Nitro 5 as he offers it for only € 1799.
Be quick: stocks are not expandable.
